Curriculum & Instruction

Our goal is to provide all of our students with basic fundamental subjects such as mathematics, science, social studies, language arts, music, art, reading, and physical education.

We will continue to encourage our students to think collaboratively, creatively, and critically. We strive to offer a balanced approach of offering hands-on learning and experiences with technology. Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley teachers collaborate to assure each one of our students instructional needs are being met.

K
Members of the National Honor Society visited the elementary school in celebration of Read Across America Day. High school students spent time reading with preschool classes and enjoyed a snack together afterward. It is always wonderful to see older students connecting with and encouraging our youngest learners.

E-Learning Days

Our goal is to provide quality practice or review of important math and reading standards.

On days of E-Learning, this site will be used as a central location for all students in the elementary for expectations, directions, and in some cases learning content.

If time allows, and in some cases, the teacher will send home papers the day before.

E-learning will focus on math, reading, and enrichment. Enrichment may include social studies, science, spelling, grammar, or a fun activity. Specialist teachers will also provide some activity to work on at home.

Expectations

For Students:

  • Prepare a time and space for learning and compiling work and expectations.
  • Give effort to match the quality of work that you would complete at school.

For Parents:

  • Help your child prepare a time and space for learning.
  • Communicate with the teacher on SeeSaw or email with questions or concerns and as needed.
